NextPrinciples’ 2014 resolution: Help our customers find more leads, better leads and faster time to revenue via Social Media

2013 has passed by in a blur for us at NextPrinciples. We had a fantastic year of progress on all fronts, including:

1. The honor of continuing to work with our existing customers and welcoming new ones on board
2. Getting our first round of institutional funding
3. Winning multiple awards and being a finalist in the global CRM Idol competiton

Before moving to other things, I would like to thank our customers, partners and the many friends of the company (including influencers, analysts and thought-leaders who have been so gracious with their time and advice) for all their help in 2013.

It is that time of the year when resolutions rule the roost. As a team, we too have made one:

“To help our customers quantify their returns on Social Media and achieve a faster time to revenue with Social Lead Generation.”

What does this mean? Through the course of the last 3 years, we have been in close discussions with our customers and have successfully built out a platform that has helped them achieve a simple and effective path through the maze of Social Media. However, the time has come to help them with the one question that is topmost in their minds:

How do I demonstrate the business value of Social Media to my boss (and everyone above) as well as to the rest of the company?

In order to answer this question, we asked ourselves 3 questions:

1. What are the existing processes within a company that have a direct impact on the top-line?

2. Which of these processes has a parallel on social media channels?

3. Given our backgrounds as “boring enterprise software” folks with tons of years of experience we have in the world of ‘traditional’ CRM, in which process can we deliver the most value through a structured and efficient approach?

The only process that made it successfully through the above questions?

“Social Lead Management”

We can think of no better way to help companies quantify the “ROI” of Social Media.

“Better Leads, More Leads, Faster Time to Revenue”

What could be better than that?

So, while we will continue to provide our Social Analytics and Engagement platform, we will add significantly increased value to our customers by focusing on Social Lead Management as a value added software solution.

Over the course of the next few days, weeks and months, we will make more details available but suffice to say that we have all the core building blocks for Social Lead Management use case in place, including key partnerships with leading marketing automation and CRM vendors.
